plenty of wildlife to enjoy amongst the rugged landscape here. Tsavo East is known for its lions, but there are also leopard, cheetah, buffalo, elephant, impala, zebra and over 500 species of birds in this renowned park.
In contrast to Tsavo’s vast stretches of savannah, Amboseli National Park promises a different safari experience. A smaller and open reserve, the park’s size makes it easier to spot game. Amboseli is known as the best place in the world to view free ranging elephants. It is also framed by the massive vista of Mt. Kilimanjaro – Africa’s highest peak.
Pickup from your hotel at 6 am, and travel to Tsavo East. The drive takes about 4 to 4.5 hours. You will see wildlife after entering the park till you check in and have lunch at your reserved lodging. You can unwind at the resort or camp after lunch until 4pm. A wildlife drive till sunset, followed by dinner and an overnight stay at your preferred hotel.
After an early breakfast, drive to Amboseli National Park. Upon arriving, check in right away before having lunch at your preferred lodging. Afternoon game watching until sunset, with a chance to see Kilimanjaro (if the sky is clear). All meals and overnight accommodations at the camp or lodge of your choice.
After an early breakfast followed by a game drive out of the park, you will depart to Voi for lunch. After lunch, drive back to your hotel arriving late in the evening. End of your safari.
